Website Design
When designing a website, it's imperative to pay attention to not only functionality, but also composition, typography, imagery, and wayfinding elements. The visual design should reflect both the website's functional purpose, as well as your company's identity. Client interviews, creative briefs, and meetings are used to capture the tone and spirit of the company. Ani has a series of refined processes ensuring the final design captures your vision and reinforces your strategy for the website.
One round of revisions constitutes the execution of a single punch list submission of your requested design modifications. Any additional rounds of revisions will be billable.
Your feedback is reviewed and discussed with our designers and carefully integrated into each new design round.
Screen Resolution
Screen resolution represents the size at which a monitor is set to display, and dictates to what size the website will be designed to appear optimally. Your website will be optimized for 1024 x 768 pixels, which represents approximately 93+% of the market.
Graphic Images
In addition to the development of the user interface (UI), Ani may incorporate the usage of other graphic resources into the overall design or content of your site.
Stock Imagery
Stock images (e.g. photography, illustrations, etc.) may be utilized to augment the messaging and visual interest of your website. They may be leveraged as elements on the home page or enhancement images throughout the site. Ani has access to a variety of sources for royalty free, Web-ready stock images appropriate for your site. All images are purchased in low-resolution – the ideal file size for display on the Web. The purchased images typically will have an associated license limiting them to the current project or any future Web-related projects produced by Ani. For any print-ready design requests, the purchase of high-resolution images will be required and charged separately.
Custom Art
Custom art can include hand-drawn illustrations, photography, etc. and can be called for in situations where standard stock imagery may not be adequate.
A multimedia graphic (e.g. JavaScript or Flash enhancement) is an animated visual communication designed to improve the impact of a specific page via text and/or image transitions and may also support user interaction.
Communication
The majority of our project management communication is by phone or email. Creative meetings and engineering reviews may be conducted by phone or email meetings as proximity factors allow.
Training for the Inventory and Content Management Tools
The interface for our content management tools is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive for first-time users. Websites with integrated content management tools will be provided with one hour of phone training on how to use the tools. Ani can provide additional training on an as-needed basis at our standard hourly rate.
